Spiritual Formation

Each child is a unique gift from God entrusted to the school by the parents for the nurturing of spiritual and academic growth. The school strives to educate each child in a Christ-centered environment. The entire educational program fosters these truths and values by providing a faith centered curriculum enriched by intra and extra curricular activities.

The school endeavors to prepare the students for life in a complex global society. Growth and progress may be accomplished through participation, observation, and recognition of Christian example as an integral part of the school program.

  • Each morning there is a school wide assembly for the Pledge of Allegiance and a patriotic song. Morning and afternoon announcements begin and end with prayer and spiritual reflection.
  • Students attend Little Flower school mass every Friday where parents are welcome.
  • Students in grades 3-8 receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation several times throughout the year.
  • Students participate in retreats, advent, and lenten activities.
  • Special holidays and liturgical seasons are celebrated by the entire school.
  • Children participate in the blessing of throats, reception of ashes, Stations of the Cross and other Para liturgies at the appropriate seasons of the liturgical year.
