Clubs

Art Club – Students meet once a week after school to work on enrichment art projects, painting, and ceramics.

Band – Students in grades 3- 8 may become members of the band. Lessons are held once during the week. Little Flower has16 members in the Archdiocese of Miami Honor Band. Currently there are 62 members in the school band who perform in concerts throughout the year.

Choir – Jr. Choir has members in Kindergarten through fourth grade. Sr. Choir’s members are in grades five through eight. Both choirs sing at school liturgies, concerts, and perform throughout Broward County through special invitation.

Library Aides - students assist the librarian and media teacher by shelving books and assisting in the lab.

Newspaper – students in grades 6 – 8. The Leopard Print features articles, poetry, art, and commentary four times during the school year.  

Office Helpers - students in grades 6-8.  Students assist with office activities and morning and afternoon prayers/announcements.    

Reading Pals – middle school students mentor younger readers and visit classrooms to assist teachers in reading activities. 

Safety Patrol – students in grade 5. These students assist faculty and parent volunteers with morning drop-off.

Student Council- students in grades 5 – 8.  Appointed through an application process, the student council organizes seasonal activities and sponsors student fundraisers to raise money for service projects and to assist the needy in the community.

Subject Competition Teams - students in grades 6-8. Throughout the school year, eligible middle school students represent Little Flower in high school, state, and national academic competitions.
